Collection: Philodendron

Philodendrons are tropical plants native to South America that exhibit incredible diversity in terms of leaf shape and even growth habit, ranging from creeping to climbing. They are easy to care for and make excellent houseplants.

General care of your philodendrons:
- ambient temperature/humidity: 35% and above, 17 degrees and above
- light: a little direct sunlight (morning or evening), most tolerate little but will be prettier with very good light
- watering: on the surface when the soil is dry
- repot if too many roots protrude under the pot with suitable potting soil
- fertilizer: in season when it is hot at each watering unless freshly repotted
- tutor: for climbing philodendrons, sphagnum tutor is preferred
