Adding fertilizer raises the pH of the water. If your water already has a high pH, ​​as is the case in Strasbourg, using a pH regulator will greatly help in preparing an effective solution.

Monitor your pH before and after preparing the solution, ideally aiming to keep it around 6.5. For reference, Strasbourg tap water has a pH of approximately 7.5, and higher if fertilizer is added.
